Privacy Policy

Time Hacker 3000 Effective: October 15, 2025

Time Hacker 3000 (“the App”) helps you view and compare times and temperatures across global time zones. We respect your privacy and design the App to use as little data as possible.

1) Information We Collect

Approximate location (via IP address). The App calls a public geolocation service to estimate your city and latitude/longitude in order to show weather and sunrise/sunset visuals. Precise GPS location is not required.

Device time zone. We read your device’s time zone locally to display the correct local time. This does not leave your device.

No accounts or identifiers. We do not collect names, emails, or create user accounts. Limited, anonymous technical data may be logged by your device or hosting provider (e.g., error logs), but this cannot identify you.

2) How We Use Information

3) Storage & Retention

Your preferences (selected zones, units) are stored locally on your device (e.g., browser localStorage). We do not keep user databases or store personal data on our servers.

4) Third-Party Services

These services receive your IP address as part of normal web requests. Their use of data is governed by their own policies.

5) Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6) Your Choices

You can clear the App’s local data by clearing your browser/app cache. Since we don’t keep personal data server-side, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf.

7) Security

All requests are made over HTTPS. We minimize data collection and do not store sensitive personal data.

8) Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll revise the Effective Date above and publish updates at this URL.
